OAMH 25th Annual Meeting

The OAMH 25th Annual meeting will feature Dan Fisher, MD, Ph.D, Director of the National Empowerment Center, and the sole mental health consumer/survivor to service on the New Freedom Commission on Mental Health convened by President George W. Bush.

Also featured will be Ohio Supreme Court Justice Evelyn Lundberg Stratton, who has been a national advocate for Crisis Intervention Training (CIT) for police officers, and an advocate for mental health and drug courts to divert people from prisons and jails to treatment alternatives.

And finally, Ohio’s own Fred Frese, Ph.D., who is a member of the NAMI national Board of Directors and who has appeared on many national television and radio programs, conferences, workshops and publications discussing his personal experiences with schizophrenia.
