OAMH Services

OAMH represents Ohioans diagnosed with mental illnesses in policy making regarding services to people with mental illnesses.  We also provide information and resources to people to help them be better advocates for themselves and their peers.

ADVOCACY                                                               

OAMH offers a variety of education programs about mental illnesses, treatment, self-directed care, peer-to-peer services and advocacy including BRIDGES, WRAP, CDS, ACE

EDUCATION

OAMH works with more than 70 peer support/self-help groups around Ohio to assist them in networking among each other, and to share information and resources across that network.

SELF-HELP NETWORK          

OAMH provides technical assistance and training to the peer support/self-help programs around Ohio to assist  them from beginning stages for new groups to on-going support needs for long-established groups
